Taylor Hall is an Artist, Activist, and Community Organizer
Taylor Hall is an Indianapolis-born artist, activist, model, and creative whose work bridges music, culture, and community impact. Her passion for community organizing began in high school through volunteer work and fundraising efforts and continued throughout her time at Ball State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Communications in 2021.
While in college, Hall served as President of Men and Women of Color, organized more than 20 protests nationwide, and interned for the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2020, she helped organize Indianapolis’ largest racial justice protest, drawing over 10,000 attendees. Her advocacy work contributed to conversations with city and state leaders that led to updates in use-of-force policies, increased funding for police body cameras, and the banning of chokeholds in Indiana.
Alongside her activism, Hall has cultivated a powerful voice in music and entertainment. She released her debut single “I Can’t Breathe” during the Black Lives Matter movement as a message rooted in love, unity, and justice. Through honest storytelling and emotionally driven lyrics, her music explores mental health, healing, and the transition into adulthood with authenticity and compassion.
Her viral single “What I Choose” has surpassed one million streams and reached millions across social media, inspiring listeners with its message of finding light even in difficult moments. Hall’s music has been featured in Mary J. Blige’s Hallmark Films “Be Happy” and “Family Affair", as well as in campaigns for Japanese fashion brand YECCA VECCA. She was also featured as talent and the voiceover artist in the Indiana Fever x Nike Rebel Jersey Reveal campaign.
Beyond music, Hall is a signed model who works regularly with JD Sports and Finish Line. She has performed at major cultural and community events including WNBA All-Star, Indianapolis Men’s March Madness events, Chreece, and BUTTER. She has also performed at fundraising events such as IU Health’s biggest fundraiser Rev Indy held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Hall’s artistry and growing cultural impact have also earned recognition from Grammy Award-winning artist SZA, who has reposted and supported her work on social media.
